Um where is the service here..? I walked in and the store is empty save for several employees standing around. No one says hello, no one offers help and there's no cashier at any of the registers. I just set my stuff on the floor and walked out. First experience at a new location closer to home was trash; looks like I'm going local again.
I have visited twice. Both times, I was very disappointment. They are higher priced then the other places in town. I visited the fish area looking for supplies and at the fish. Several of the fish supplies were very high priced, compared to the other stores in town! It is horrible how they keep their Betta Fish. Smaller cups than even Walmart and more expensive. The first Betta I looked at was floating half on his side in hardly any water. He looked very unhealthy and close to dying. None of the Betta fish looked healthy - again, horrible conditions! The cat food brand that I feed "Blue Buffalo" was a couple dollars more a bag, than anywhere else I have purchased it. I would expect better from a Pet Smart. Won't be going back.
Wish I could give negative stars honestly. Worst and I mean absolutely worst customer service ever besides online ordering for store pick up being a nightmare an took forever and after so much time spent trying to get order done they didn't give 15% off as advertised had someone else pick up order an when she picked it up an cashier was like oh you can just shop in store an we can apply discount you don't have to order online, after she explained what a terrible online experience we had. But amazingly even after telling them we didn't recieve the 15% discount they shrug shoulders an did nothing. So I contacted petsmart customer service through email and they say I need to go back to store lol. An the best absolute best part was after exchanging a few cases of food and showed receipt and email from corprate I needed to go in to get the refund for the 15% I didn't recieve in the first place the cashier called over help I'm assuming the manager (Troy) over to help an he didn't do anything didn't give the refund we should have had did absolutely nothing at all. So once I got home I called to ensure there was a a male manager on during that time and asked for name to ensure his lack of helpfulness was acknowledged. Never will go here or order from petsmart again this was unreal how much this store does not want to help or even ensure their customers are happy and get the deals they advertised or at the very least fix the mistake they made. Petsmart all around is to blame not just this store but this store has really showed the worst customer service iv ever seen in an actual establishment.
Yes the store is fancy and new, yes the staff members were friendly and helpful. However, I purchased the 25-30 med/large cricket box and a hornworm box too. There seemed to be no issues, until I got home and the hornworm was a tiny fellow and my "25-30" crickets were actually 17 crickets and only 12 were alive. Don't short your customers, they're what keep you in buisness.
I am an experienced fish tank owner. I stopped into this petsmart to get a new pleco for our tank, as the one we currently have does not like to come out in the light. We waited in the fish area for about 5 minutes, as 2 employees chatted with a friend in an isle. I finally walked up and asked if anyone could help us with fish. Rather than asking what we wanted she just asked what kind of tank we had. I told her what I wanted. She said okay but asked the tank size. We told her and she told us that she wouldn't sell us that fish because it wasn't done growing, that our tank is too small. Rather than ask us if we had additional plans (as later down the line this fish would have moved into our larger tank) she just refused us the sale. I guess this is what I get for going to a big chain store rather than the small pet stores I usually frequent. I would never shop here again.
