Rebate is a complete joke. We purchased a shed and spent over $650...we were told that we could bring the receipt back and get the %11 rebate, well we came back that next weekend and was told by the rebate specialist that we can't get this because it's over. Not only did she roll her eyes and not look at my face when having this conversation but was so rude. If we were told we can get this rebate, give us the rebate. Also over $650 and nothing you can do.....I don't believe it. Menards will no longer have 1 cent of our money. So sad and disappointed. Feel scammed, ripped off, and lied to especially with a purchased of this amount. This could have been handled differently.

Horrible, Horrible! Was my 1st time there and they had false prices on half the items we bought! Then ultimately wound up at costumer service desk because a rug we bought CLEARLY advertised for $24.99 rang up for $34.99! Manager went to "check" she said no it's 34.99, I said no all 3 of us saw $24.99, I went back to meet her there and she had changed the tag, admitted to taking the tag out, but said...basically we're not refunding you. FALSE ADVERTISING EVERYWHERE IN THIS STORE! Check your receipts!

Ordered a fence and deck railing in store. Young kid never put the rail or spindles on the order. When informing him I wanted 6 foot sections for the fence he placed and order for a build yourself composite fence rather than informing me they didn't have that type of fence in the 6 foot sections. Terrible considering I've never had problems with other departments here before.

I bought a log splitter from the elk river store. Last one that they had so I bought the floor model. Brought it home and started splitting some wood went to flip vertical and hydraulic lines pinched. Come to find out that it was assembled incorrectly controls were on wrong side of machine, cylinder was upside down and so on. Call the store and get absolutely no help not even a sorry that was put together incorrectly. So I switch everything on my own and went to use it and my fear like I had told the employee was leaking gaskets. It has multiple leaks now and I called store again and told them what had happened and was told I have to call the manufacturer and received no help and no apology. I get calling the manufacturer if I assembled it incorrectly but that is not the case. Good customer service would be helping out especially when it is a bigger $ purchase like a log splitter. The unwillingness to help fix the problem from their assembly is upsetting and will be the last time I use their stores.

Do not, I repeat do not trust the lead times they give you for special order items. I was given a 31 day estimate for a gas range. 31 days have come and gone and now they are saying its going to be another 6-8 weeks! It took over a week just to get a straight answer about how much longer it would be. A few more days would be understandable but that much extra time is unacceptable. How are your forecasts off by that much? Rant over, but seriously don't buy special order items from here unless you want to wait for 3 months to receive them.
