All employees here are very nice which makes coming here a fun and enjoyable time. The food is good and is reasonably priced, and the restaurant's environment is one that makes going there and hanging out fun
I haven't been to Applebee's in about 10 years. I was not impressed by the food. The chicken with shrimp and onion combo tasted fine and was cooked well but lacked the full flavor I was anticipating. My wife had the chicken caprese salad, which was an interesting take but the mashed potatoes were a bit weird. The staff were all nice and welcoming. We had an average wait time for our food. The facility was clean however the parking lot had substantial ice build up(which is to be expected in winter).
Horrible service. Can't believe it took an hour for our table of 3, but I noticed quickly nobody around us had food either. Nobody looked happy. And then our steaks came out ice cold and overdone. , Really ? It seemed not to be the waitress fault at all, she apologized right away. But then we had a visit from the manager, Amanda who didn't give a hoot. She told us we were the only ones who complained of cold food all night. Sorry don't believe that, it's hard to eat cold mashed potatoes and an overdone steaks. Nobody around us had food, what a waste of our time and disappointing as we were out for my daughter's 22 birthday. Either way Amanda had no apology or resolution to our cold, very late meals so we left and ordered pizza from Chanticleer in elk River ! The pizza was excellent ! Recommend Chanticleer anytime ! Skip Applebee's and the trip out , and order pizza for half the price :).
My family and I went today around 12:30 for lunch. We were seated right away, but after 20 minutes we had not even been greeted by wait staff. I went to the hostess to ask where our waitress was and was told they would send someone right over. When our waitress finally did come to the table she apologized and stated she was new and didn’t realize that we were in her section. The plates brought for our appetizer were dirty, one of the beer glasses had food dried to the outside. It took 20 minutes for our appetizer to be brought out. When our food arrived, they had messed up my daughters order. The food wasn’t hot. We had requested no pink in the burgers and they were all medium. And to top it all off, it was freezing in the restaurant as if the heat wasn’t even on.
Went to supper with my husband during happy hour. Ordered our half price appetizer, entrees and half price drinks. We were charged full price for our drinks. We brought it to our waitresses attention. She stated that only the house margaritas were for happy hour. We spoke to the manager letting him know that the waitress should have told us when we orderd that our margaritas were not included in the happy hour. He spoke to her and because she lied and claimed she did tell us, we were still charged full price and he would not honor the half off happy hour special. The lack of good customer service was sad and calling my husband and myself liars is insulting, appalling and rude. We will never be back and we will never recommend this place to anyone.
